About the Fund

The Erin Babineau Memorial Fund is organized exclusively for charitable purposes under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or corresponding section of any future federal tax code. This organization is formed in the State of Connecticut.

The Fund undertakes fundraising through personal solicitations. On the anniversary of Erin's birthday (July 12th), the fund conducts a memorial fundraising mailing contacting all of her personal donors to inquire if they would like to again contribute to the fund. In the mailing, all of the previous year's benefactors are listed to make people aware of where funds had been distributed.

The family is extremely grateful for the generosity and support they've received for their efforts. Each gift makes a difference. It enables the fund to provide vital services to the youth of the Stratford community while remembering Erin.
